Arrow Review: On a Hunt

Arrow is back and aimed right for our Hearts. “Blast Radius” was an intence episode and it was a nice lead in into the rest of the season.

In the flashbacks: Oliver was in pain, emotional pain over his decision to save Sara and he struggled even more with not being able to tell the truth to his friend/mentor Slade. Slade meanwhile was going Gaga after Shado’s death and even tried to kill Oliver. He realized he was damaged and relaxed a bit, resulting only in him running away with the Mirakuru. The situation on the island is heating up and I’m really expecting a huge blow out and please give me some boat scenes, the boat is AHS material.

Present time: Oliver was on a hunt for the Skull Mask, without his girl Felicity who was watching over Barry who was in a coma after the events of last episodes, 5 weeks ago.  The events from the Island traumatized Oliver so much that his only thoughts were put into finding the man who develops the Mirakuru. Meanwhile a Bomber tormented Starling City, which made Felicity run back to the operating center. The Bomber was just a way to heat up the Olicity interaction again, with Oliver pushing Felicity to her limits accusing her of not working  good enough. The beauty of their relationship is in Felicity being so open towards Oliver. She isn’t affraid, she is there and she wants to be there. Their final apologizing scene was just honest and powerful but Oliver had to ruin it with mentioning Barry. I hope the writers won’t wait to long to go there, cause Oliver seriously has to realese some pressure.

Laurel, finally got some focus, so tonight she was on a Hunt of her own, find the truth behind Sebastian Blood. Usually you would just think she is paranoid with her boyfriend history but she is on to something here. She digged into some family history which resulted with her finding out that Sebastian killed his own father and put his Mommy into a mental institution.

Thea and Roy had some interesting interactions (hot) these week. Roy was back to his red hoddy and saved Moira from dying. I honestly think the writers are trying to push the apart with one of the leaving the show after the season ends (I’m leaninig towards Thea), I mean Thea won’t forgive Roy every mess he makes.

Next week seems intense, Laurel will dig into Sebastian’s plans and will of course be in danger, but who will come to rescue her The Arrow or The Black Canary?
